The Littlest of Kittens

A couple days ago I found a teeny tiny baby kitty wandering in the street. Yesterday I took him to the vet and he got treated for ear mites, fleas, worms, and infected eyes. Poor little baby. Today I bathed him. He is looking more and more like a healthy kitten by the day, though he is still woefully malnourished with plenty of ribs sticking out everywhere. Adorable nonetheless. Even when he looks like a drowned rat.

The plan was to give him to a shelter, but since all of them are filled up right now and Animal Services euthanizes kittens that weigh less than 2 lb (Little Bit weighs in at 1 lb!), we are stuck with a kitten for now. His cuteness and cuddliness is slowly wearing down our resolve to not have another cat.

See?

We are tossing around names right now. Some ideas: Octavius, Gaius, but really anything that carries on the Rome-inspired cat name trend or the great ancient ruler name trend. My other cat is Caesar. I've also had cats named Cleopatra and Alexander the Great. Any other good ideas?
